How to help
A huge thank you to all those who have generously offered help to so far: Slightly Foxed, who supported me in myriad ways (scroll down); all those who have offered accommodation, or donated to my JustGiving page; to StenaLine, who are set me off to a good start by helping me out with my ferry journey to the Hook of Holland; to Rupert Godsal and my parents for their constant support and generosity. And, of course, to Harriet's husband, Richie, and her mum, Amanda, particularly - for all their love and support.
If you'd like to help, I've listed a few different options below.
for those who wish to sponsor my trip, I HAVE SET UP A JUSTGIVING PAGE FOR DONATIONS to bowel cancer uk.
However, this is as much about awareness-raising for Never Too Young, Bowel Cancer UK's campaign for the under-50s, as fundraising. Please share what I'm doing with friends. Thank you!

buy a t-shirt!
2000 miles is also roughly how far I have left on my adventure. A chance encounter threw me into the path of the wonderful Rae (FWP by Rae), who designed this t-shirt in homage to her fave Christmas song and is now donating £5 of every sale to Bowel Cancer UK in Harriet’s memory. The kindness of strangers never ceases to blow me away. A snippet from Rae’s blog below - visit her page to read more/buy a tee!
‘I didn’t particularly set out to be a charity t-shirt business, but along the way I have encountered chance meetings or opportunities that have really made me think about how I could help. On this occasion a chance meeting happened whilst missing a talk at the RED magazine smart women’s week, and this led me to meet the lovely Katy Macmillan-Scott. As I sat in the downstairs bar of the venue sulking into my large G&T, Katy walked into the room and sat down next to me, equally frustrated that she’d also missed the talk. This got us discussing why we were there in the first place. Her story totally blew me away and got me thinking, again, that I could maybe use my brand to help fundraise. I originally designed the 2000 miles T-shirt for my Christmas collection this year, as this song is one of my all time favourites... However, after hearing this story, I decided to bring the release date forward and donate £5 from the sale of each T-shirt to Katy’s cause. I can’t imagine the pain of losing one of my best friends, they are my family.’
For those who want to help me on the next stage of my route
I will be walking between Gyomaendrőd and Gyula in Hungary - if you or any friends live on Paddy’s route, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! Bed, board and map-sharing much appreciated.
